Two International Women's Day events offer proceeds to the Breast of Canada Calendar
International Women's Day (IWD) is fast approaching
and Sue Richards, publisher of the Breast of Canada calendar,
is thrilled that two Guelph IWD celebrations are directing
a percentage of their event proceeds to the Breast of Canada
breast health/breast cancer prevention project.
Olga Ciaravella from Guelph Place Banquet Hall is planning her 3rd Annual International Women's Day Celebration Dinner for Friday March 4th. This fun event will be hosted by CJOY radio personality Lisa Richards and includes a silent auction, door prizes, a delicious dinner plus a keynote address by author, Adele Alfano, titled: Mining Your Diamonds Within.
Full table bookings are available for your group, friends and co-workers.
When: Friday, March 4, 2005

works, created by beginner, intermediate and professional
artists, all framed in pink, may be the perfect IWD event
for you.
Artist Carolyn Riddell, curator of Tickled Pink, the 2nd
Annual IWD celebration at Crimea Street Studio reports that
the work will include watercolours, prints, pastels, mixed
media and pottery. The show runs from March 5 until March
11. The Tickled Pink Party takes place on International Women¹s
Day, Tuesday March 8 from 3 - 7 pm. Prizes will be announced
and awarded at the party. Original art prices start at $50.00.
Everyone is welcome.
