Sandy Walsh 
Web Wench

Born in Uruguay, Sandy grew up in South Africa and lived in Greece for 2 years before attending a year of college in the US. She then moved to Guelph and graduated from the University in 1984. In 1987 she ventured to Newfoundland, then Nova Scotia before returning to Guelph 1995.

"Guelph is an exceptionally vibrant and cultural community. There are many opportunities to become involved and contribute to the rich creative energy this city," she says.

Sandy joined the Breast of Canada team in November of 2001 to help promote the project and manage the web site. Her creative flare, positive energy and straightforward management style has been a welcome addition to this ground breaking project.

In addition to developing web sites and databases on a freelance basis, she is also a Project Manger at a high tech company in Waterloo, Ontario's Technology Triangle.

"Being involved with the Breast of Canada team has been a wonderful experience for me. Working with these amazing artists and being able to contribute to the technical and business aspects of the project is most rewarding."
